& Trail Riding
Hughston's Cow Camp is the perfect place to camp the cowboy way for the weekend. With over 500 acres of open cattle pasture, you get to choose your own camping spot -- whether you want open skies or a shady tree line. Bring your horses and set up temporary pens and explore miles of wooded trails perfect for scenic trail riding. Build your own campfire, cook out, and enjoy a laid-back, unplugged weekend with your family under the stars!

Enjoy a weekend full of family-friendly fun and community connection. We do a special Kid's Day in the arena where little cowboys and cowgirls can take part in games and hands on rodeo activities from learning to rope, barrel race on foot, or sitting on a bull! Throughout the weekend, there's something for everyone -- from our chili cook-off and most patriotic campsite contest to the cornhole tournament and the occasional poker run! We also offer a guided trail ride through the property for anyone wanting to explore the land with one of the Hughston's as your guide!

No need to pack the pantry, we've got you covered all weekend long with a variety of food vendors serving up delicious meals snacks, and drinks to keep you fueled for the fun! Stroll through our western vendor area to shop for tack, homemade goods and more! And don't forget to stop by our booth to grab official Hughston's Cow Camp Rodeo apparel and products -- the perfect way to remember your weekend and show your Cow Camp pride year-round!
The Hughston Family has deep roots in faith, family, and the Western way of life. Over 60 years ago, Bill and Bonnie Hughston laid the foundation for a legacy built on hard work hospitality, and a love for the land and livestock. What started as a simple way of life has grown into a multi-generational family tradition that continues to bring people together. Today, their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren carry on that legacy -- honoring the past while building a future rooted in community, integrity, and the values that shaped generations.

It was our first time but surely not the last one! It was a family event full of love and unity and we had lots of fun meeting people and especially the Hughston family. Everyone was welcome and there was freedom in the air which means trusting in every guest who would naturally take care of the place. Its unique and rare to be welcome in such a beautiful rodeo!
